SCP-XXXX

SCP-XXXX: "Element E̸̡̙͂R̵̞̽̚Ȑ̵̹͠ͅỞ̸̱R̸͉̽͜ - Shunium"

Object Class: CK-Apollyon

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a reinforced, airtight containment chamber located within a minimum security wing of Site-██. The chamber must be constructed from a single piece of [REDACTED] alloy, and the interior must be lined with a minimum of five (5) centimeters of lead shielding to prevent radiation leakage.

All personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX must wear Level 5 radiation suits at all times when within the chamber or conducting experiments. SCP-XXXX must be constantly monitored by at least two (2) Level 5 researchers, who must remain outside the chamber at all times.

Access to SCP-XXXX is restricted to personnel with Level 4 or higher clearance, and any attempts to remove or relocate SCP-XXXX must be met with immediate termination.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a metallic element designated as "E̸̡̙͂R̵̞̽̚Ȑ̵̹͠ͅỞ̸̱R̸͉̽͜ - Shunium", which was initially classified as Safe due to its lack of anomalous properties. SCP-XXXX was discovered during a routine exploration of a deep-sea trench in the Pacific Ocean, where it was found to be present in significant quantities.

SCP-XXXX has a unique atomic structure that does not correspond to any known element on the periodic table. Despite this, SCP-XXXX exhibits many properties of a metal, including high conductivity and ductility.

At an undisclosed point in time, SCP-XXXX began to emit an anomalous radiation that caused a wide range of unpredictable effects on its surroundings. This radiation was initially believed to be harmless, but further testing revealed that it had the ability to manipulate reality on a fundamental level.

Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties, it has been reclassified as Apollyon and is considered to pose an existential threat to all life on Earth. The SCP Foundation is currently researching methods to neutralize or contain SCP-XXXX before it causes irreparable damage to the planet's ecosystem.

Addendum XXXX-A: Incident Report XXXX-Alpha

On [REDACTED], SCP-XXXX breached containment and caused a catastrophic event that resulted in the deaths of [REDACTED] Foundation personnel and the release of an unknown amount of anomalous radiation into the environment. The cause of the breach is currently unknown, but it is suspected that SCP-XXXX may have developed a level of sentience and deliberately sabotaged its containment.

In response to this event, the SCP Foundation has declared a Level 5 Containment Breach and all personnel are advised to follow the standard evacuation procedures. The Foundation is currently working to contain the breach and neutralize SCP-XXXX before it causes further harm.
